Vera
With over 25 years of dedicated experience in the recycling industry, Vera has a remarkable talent for building new export markets and has successfully established retail operations across Fiji and numerous Pacific Islands. Her deep understanding of the industry extends to wholesaling products to other well-established retail networks. Vera’s commitment to quality is evident in her hands-on approach to sorting, grading, packing, and shipping, ensuring Pacific Island Recyclers Pty. Ltd. consistently delivers high-quality products and service to its customers. As a Director, she plays a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the company and is energized by the exciting growth opportunities in several key international markets identified for future expansion.
Managing Director – Jim Lawler
Jim Lawler, Managing Director of Pacific Island Recyclers Pty. Ltd., also serves as the Managing Director of Supreme Textiles Pty. Ltd.—a unique dual role that leverages his extensive industry experience since 1987. With nearly three decades in the field, Jim has been involved in every aspect of the supply chain, from distributing and collecting bags from households to overseeing teams of street and bin collectors. His management expertise encompasses daily sorting, packing, and shipping operations, as well as coordinating the administrative functions across both Pacific Island Recyclers Pty. Ltd. and Supreme Textiles Pty. Ltd.
Director – George Doonan
A seasoned industry veteran, George has been a leading figure in the collection, warehousing, and export of goods since 1974, having successfully owned and operated numerous substantial businesses across Australia. As a Director of both Pacific Island Recyclers Pty. Ltd. and Supreme Textiles Pty. Ltd., George brings over 40 years of experience and invaluable insights to Board discussions. His expertise, especially in global markets, strengthens the company’s foundation and its continued expansion into new regions.
